Entry Requirements - International Students

As an international student, you will be admitted in accordance with the Jordanian Government and SAE’s policies and can apply directly to SAE for admission.

If you are a Jordanian resident, visit SAE's Domestic Entry Requirements.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS & ELIGIBILITY

International (non-Jordanian) and Jordanian students holding foreign secondary certificates (British GCE, SAT, International Baccalaureate, or an American High School Diploma, etc.), obtained inside the kingdom or abroad, can be accepted at SAE after providing an equivalency of the certificate from The Ministry of Education in Jordan. Visit the Ministry of Education/Authentication and Equivalence of Certificates Section on their website to know more about the rules, conditions, and requirements for certificate equalization. The GPA after Jordanian equivalency will determine the degree a student is eligible to study at SAE, as explained below:

Bachelor’s Program & Local/Associate Diploma Eligibility:

To join a Bachelor’s Program or a Local/Associate Diploma at SAE, a student must be holding an overseas qualification equivalent to the Jordanian General Secondary Certificate (Tawjihi/Grade 12).

  • A minimum GPA of 60% (after Jordanian equivalency) is required for any Bachelor’s degree at SAE.

  • A GPA ranging between 50% and 59% (after Jordanian equivalency) is eligible to join the Local/Associate Diploma for two years.

Training Diploma Eligibility:

A student with an incomplete foreign certificate is eligible to enrol in the Training Diploma program for two years.
